MISS EMMA V DALY REMOVED BY DEATH
Estimable Young Resident of Corn Hill Passed Away at Noon Today, Was Well Known. A true Christian life was brought to a close at noon to-day when Miss Emma V Daly, one of the best known and most popular young ladies of this city, passed away at her home, 326 Seymour avenue. Her death was not entirely unexpected, but the announcement comes as a sad blow to her host of friends. Miss Daly had been in poor health for about three years past. She was a daughter of William F. Daly and was born in this city 29 years ago. She attended the public schools from which she graduated. Later she entered the Utica Free Academy. For a time she was associated with her father in the store which he conducted on Bleecker street, just west of Burnet street. She was a devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Church and was identified with the societies connected therewith, in all of which she was deeply interested. Miss Daly was of a pleasant disposition and made friends readily. She was greatly beloved by all her associates. Besides her father she is survived by one brother, Mark A. Daly. She was a niece of the late John and Daniel Quinn, both of whom passed away this week.
