Born May 17, 1924 in San Ildefonso to Sixto and Constancia Burn. A soldier of WW II, husband to Priscilla for 63 years, father of six sons and three daughters, grandfather to 33, and great grandfather to 40, passed away in peace at home on August 2, 2013.
The family of Jose G. Duran would like to express their sincere appreciation to those that provided loving home care. Abigal, Maria, Sylvia, Anna, and Teresa. A special thank you to his grandson Matthew who spent many sleepless nights caring for him.
Pallbearers are Nathan, Matthew, Jo Daniel, Robert, Chris Duran. Nicholle Suran Cordova, Chad Hale, and Jesse Ortiz.
A Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque, NM on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
