Services for Sylvia Gene Farmer, 56, of Shallowater will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 in Faith Free Will Baptist Church at 52nd & Ave. P with Pastor Jackie Farmer officiating. Interment will be in the Idalou Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She died on February 14, 2005.
Sylvia Gene Farmer was born Nov. 15, 1948 in Lindin. She married J.W. Farmer on Feb. 3, 1965. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1992. She was employed at Wal-Mart Garden Center. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Powell and sister, Ann Dyer.
Survivors include three sons, James, Jason and Todd Farmer of Shallowater; a daughter, Sandra Lucero of Lubbock; two sisters, Kay Baker and Linda Mendoza of Shallowater; and eight grandchildren.
