Thomas Shindler was a resident of the county farm most of his life because he had epilepsy. His mother was Julia Stover née Jennings. She lived at the farm after her husband died, from 1920 to 1923, when she died. The 3 previous censuses listed Thomas Shindler at the farm. His father was William Thomas Shindler who died when Thomas was a young child. Some of his siblings were John Shindler, Buford Shindler , and Mary Shindler Collins.
