These well written words were never more pronounced then on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Tina Lynn Geiger and her daughter Kristina Marie were found dead in their home in Clinton Township, Michigan. Tina was born on February 9, 1966 in Detroit, MI to Frank and Juanita (nee Blankenship) Geiger. After many struggles in her life, Tina along with David Firestein were blessed to give birth to their daughter Kristina on October 26, 2001. David preceded them in death on December 7, 2010.
Tina and Kristina shared a loving mother-daughter relationship like no other. Challenged by special needs, Tina was a homemaker raising her daughter who attended Glen H. Peters School in Macomb Twp., MI. Both friendly and social in their neighborhood community, Tina and Kristina will be missed by all those who had the opportunity to know them.
Tina is survived by her five siblings; Jose DeLeon, Linda (Charles Caramagno) DeLeon, Cheryl Gladieux, Robin Edwards, and Becky (Lance) Mustaffa. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Delores DeLeon. Kristina will be forever cherished by not only her mother's siblings, but the aunts and uncles on her father's side including; Linda Curts, Robert Feirstein (slightly different spelling), and Mary (Robert) Reiterman.
Memorial visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mount Clemens, MI on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00p.m. officiated by Rev. Millard Bolden, III.
