Lucille Cook, the daughter of Vern and Marie (Eulberg) Cook, was born near Granville, Iowa. She received her education in schools in Sanborn and graduated from Sanborn High School. After graduation, she worked at Livingston's Department Store in Paullina.

On July 27, 1938, Lucille married Alvin Goodmanson. After their marriage, the couple lived in Sioux City for a short time until World War II when Alving went into the service. At that time Lucille moved home to live with her father. After the war the couple operated a hardware store in Sanborn. Alvin died in 1950.

Lucille then moved to Mankato, Minnesota, where she attended Business College for one year.

On August 20, 1958, Lucille married Harry Johnson. The couple made their home in Mankato where Lucille was employed at the offices of Dr. Johnson & Dr. Lindbloom.

Harry died in 1974. Lucille remained in Mankato for many years and was a very active for the American Red Cross.

Lucille had no children.
