A native of Jeffersonville, this county, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Josephine Clark Schultz and a member of the Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. Childers were former residents of Mt. Sterling where he operated a grocery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Johnston, Paris, and Mrs. Bayless Graves, Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Stanley Myers, Lexington; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Marshall Leggett at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
