Janet, 77, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013, at Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was the daughter of Neil and Roberta (Yocum) Oakley.

Janet enjoyed cooking, baking, quilts, flowers, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Sherry (Rick) LeMaster and Terry Nott, both of Jackson; grandchildren, Michael of Lexington, KY and Randy (Krista Divietri) of Jackson, and great-grandchildren Kyle, Corbin, Cash, and Kadence; sisters Lila (Lawrence) Long and Joyce (Wilkie) Fletcher, both of Stockbridge; and sister-in-law Iris Oakley of Jackson along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Robert Oakley, Betty Reynolds, Bonnie Patrick, and Joan Strahan.

A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge, with Pastor James Walling officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Grace Church in Jackson.
