Mrs. Anderson was born January 1, 1923 in Riddleburg, PA. She is the daughter of the late Liberato and the late Lena Villa. She married James C. Anderson who predeceased her. Frances was a Hostess for the Disabled American Veterans in New Windsor, NY.
Frannie, in younger years, loved to dance and have a great time. She loved to cook for her family and she especially treasured her time with her grandchildren. Shopping was truly one of her joys.
She is survived by 1 son Donald Anderson and Aisha of Newburgh, 3 daughters, Wanda Anderson of Marlboro, Judy Dobroski of Marlboro and Shirley Robinson of Indiana, 1 brothers, Joseph Villa of Ohio, 8 Grandchildren; Joe Fina, Shawn and Diana Henry, Susan & David Young, Kevin & Roni Robinson, Raquel Robinson, Shannon Robinson, Bryant Robinson and Amanda Anderson, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Robert, James, Don, George & Nick, 2 sisters, Elizabeth & Angelina and 1 son in law Jack Dobroski.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10am at the DiDonato Funeral Home with the Reverend Laurie McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle Hope
