His wife preceded him in death December 14,1988. Survivors include three sons Leonard R. Grand Prairie, TX, James, Sylmar, CA and Phillip, Edgewood, NM; five daughters, Billie Wills , Gilmer, TX, Debra Diehl, Griffith, IN, Pamela Clauson, San Diego, CA, Valerie Rockwell and Betty Thorman, Albuquerque, NM: two brothers, Floyd Taylor Purcell, OK and Thomas Taylor, Sacramento, CA, two sisters Doreen Brown, Ardmore, OK and Margaret Kendall, El Cajon, CA;
24 Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bearers were Robert Wells, Randy Thorman, Gene and Larry Butler and Dennis and Darren Taylor.
