Floyd Thomas Fowler, 67, a resident of Silver City, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at Gila Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Cliff-Gila Mesa Cemetery in Gila. Pastor Floyd Robertson will officiate.

Mr. Fowler was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Silver City to William Arthur and Ruby (Rothwell) Fowler. He was self-employed, owning a construction business. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, No. 10, of the AF&AM, and a member of Eastern Star, No. 4, OES.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his first wife, Winnie Mae Hooker, and daughter, JoAnn Fowler of Silver City. He is also survived by his current wife, Jenna Fowler of Cliff; stepsons, Rusty Trantham of Cliff and Money Chavez of Morenci, Ariz; brothers, Bill Fowler of Silver City, John Fowler of Mimbres, Ray Fowler of Beaverhead, and Danny Joe Fowler of Mimbres; and sisters-in-law, Corinne Mullins of Las Cruces, and Billie Kelley and husband, Ed of Tyrone. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Shandis Peterson, Cody Louk, Terrell Tulley, Dalton Trantham, Grady Trantham, Steven Lee Trantham, Kendra Trantham, Kayla Trantham, and Monty Joe Chavez.

Pallbearers are member of the Masonic Lodge, No. 10 AF&AM. Honorary bearers listed are Deily Crumbley, Glen Taylor, Curley Norris, Walton Hollimon, Mike Powers, Dale Rogers, Ira Bassett, Tom Venderly, Pat Feeley, Richard Irvin, Bob Schurtz, David Romero and Max Kelley. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, U.S. 180 East at Delk Drive.
