Susannah Harbard Bassett was the wife of Abner Bassett, Sr. They were married in Lancaster, Garrard County, Kentucky on 4 March 1800. The 1830 Census shows Susannah as a widow/ head-of-household living in Davies County, Kentucky with 2 daughters and 5 negro slaves, for a household total of 8 persons.

It is not known where Susannah and her husband are buried, though Bassett family history suggests they may be buried near other kin at the Yelvington Cemetery in Daviess County, Kentucky.
