Margie was a typical Irish woman, fun loving, could hitch up a team of mules as good as the rest of them, and loved to go and visit people. After Nathan's death she moved on to Houston, Texas to live with her daughter Nora. While in Houston, she took on odd jobs - baby sitting to keeping house for other people. The Doctors made her cut her long braided hair in her later years, saying it was sapping her strength. Margie died on June 11, 1951 in Houston, Texas and is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery next to Daughter Nora's family. Nora married Richard S. "Dick" McAlpin. Contributor: Virginia Wilson Bailey
