Minnie Dirck lived in Independence for 56 years. She passed away June 12, 2008, at the John Knox Care Center. She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Kline, 2 granddaughters, Teresa Carr and Amy Kline. Also two brothers, James Buchanan and Noel Buchanan, both of Murray, Ky. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 44 years, Leroy Dirck, two sisters and one brother. She was a founding member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Independence, and enjoyed serving in several capacities there.
