Mr. Arnoldy came to Salina in 1905 to join the Dodge Agency and Homestead Building and Loan Association. He remained with the firms as vice-president until retirement nearly
65 years later.
He and his wife, Anna, moved to St. Louis in 1976 to be near their son. Mr. Arnoldy was active in the Catholic Church and civic affairs. He was a life member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Holy Name Society.
His wife preceded him in death in 1977. Survivors included a son, Francis R. Arnoldy; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jane Langevin; a sister, Sr. Nicholas Arnoldy, a member of the sisters of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
