Frances Marie Turner Herron, 85, died Sept 18, 2005 at he home of her daughter, Linda Snider.
She was born March 11, 1920, daughter of the late Tom C Turner and Johnnie Alma Laney Turner. Frances graduated from Mercer High School and West Tennessee Business College.
She retired from Roberts' Jewelers in 2001 with 35 years of service. She was a former member of Credit Professionals, with over 30 years membership and served in various offices including President of the local club. She was selected "Credit Woman of the Year" in 1982-83. She was also a former member of the Jackson Altrusa Club.
Mrs Herron was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church and attended the Ruth Sunday School Class. Until her health declined, she was an avid participant in the GROW Outreach Program and served in the Women's Mission Ministry.
