DALLAS - Roye Kaydeene Stubblefield Salley of Dallas, Texas was born on June 15, 1937 in Victoria, Texas. In the last months of her inspiring life, Kaydeene was surrounded by her family and friends. She passed away July 26, 2013 after a courageous four year fight with lung cancer and dementia.
Kaydeene was a graduate of TCU and a member of Alpha Delta Phi. She majored in Mathematics and Music. After graduating, she taught 7th grade math to gifted and talented as well as at risk students in the Victoria Independent School District for 33 years. She was a gifted, dedicated, awarded, and talented teacher who touched the lives of over 2,500 students.
Kaydeene was a loving and loyal daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many! She was extremely proud of her Christian faith, son, and grandsons, being an American and a native Texan, and being of Irish descent!
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Annabelle Stubblefield and sister, Martha Stubblefield.
