Eugene Preston Moore, 97, of Wickenburg, died in his home April 13.
Born in Plano, Texas, October 18, 1875, he had been a resident of Wickenburg since 1950. Mr. Moore and his family had lived in Arizona since 1914.
Before his retirement Mr. Moore and his wife had been professional photographers, beginning their career with the Kelly Studio in Miami in 1914. The Moore's would take a wagon, in the early days, and go out to the farms and ranches to take picture. He had worked in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott and Miami.
He is survived by his wife Leona; and a daughter, Mrs. Maurine Kirby.
Services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home April 14 at 3 p.m. Burial followed in Wickenburg Cemetery.
