Mary Beardsley Tewksbury was the wife of Dr. Anderson Dana Tewksbury and the mother of at least three children: Dr. Walter Tewksbury, Olympic medal winner in 1900 (1876-1968) and two children who did not survive childhood - Homer 1874-1874 and Lucy 1878-1884. Dr. Walter Tewksbury and his wife, Mary, lie buried elsewhere within Sunnyside Cemetery, but the two other children are buried with their parents. There is a large Tewksbury Family Monument and then individual markers for each of their graves.

She had the following siblings: Edward W.; Charles (1838-1858); Electra (1840-1843); who are also buried in Springville Cemetery with their parents.
