Services for Sam Crews, 76, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Apple Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. H. Earl Calloway, Horace Fletcher and Sidney DuBose officiating. Graveside rites will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge No. 1115.
Mr. Crews, a resident of Apple Springs the past 38 years, died in a Jacksonville hospital Friday evening. He was born May 19, 1902 in Rusk Co. Before his retirement he was engaged in farming and ranching. He was a member of the Baptist church and the Apple Springs Masonic Lodge No. 1115.
