Enoch was a shearmaker by trade and opened up a business on April 6, 1874 (Beal, Sutton & Company) making steel hardware in the area of Frary Avenue in Meriden, CT. Received his US citizenship on September 26, 1879. Died during the blizzard of 1888 of tuberculosis.
