Excerpt -- Mrs. Myrtle Poe, 81, of Thornton, died in the Grafton City Hospital this morning at 5:25. She had been seriously burned on January 10, and had been in the hospital since that time. Born in Taylor County on October 23, 1877, Mrs. Poe was a daughter of the late William L. and Sarah Kathryn Gower Thorn. Her husband was the late Harvey A. Poe. Surviving is one brother, William Thorn of Grafton, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
