There is a discrepancy in the date of Stephen Sexton's birth. See below information below from Bev:

"I have the 3 volume set of The History of Enfield, CT by Francis O. Allen. He did a fantastic job of putting thousands of records into these books.

Either the stone is wrong - the birth date and that happens. OR this is a second Ens Stephen Sexton. But too coincidental that the death date would be the same. "

(As can be seen from the photo of the marker, his birthdate is shown as 1763. It is possible that someone misread the stone as 30 years rather that 50 years old. The old marker is very difficult to read. Judith)
