Lucille A. Diekhoff - Rochester - 94, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth.

Lucille Alice Antisdel was born Oct. 6, 1917, to Henry and Martha (Miller) Antisdel in Milford, Iowa. She graduated from Milford High School in 1935. She attended the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, and graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing, Rochester in 1939. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Kahler Hospital. Lucille married Calvin Diekhoff on March 5, 1941, in Rochester. Lucille served in the Army as a nurse during World War II on a hospital train in England. In 1945, she returned to Rochester and completed her training as a nurse anesthetist. She worked for Mayo Clinic as a nurse anesthetist in Saint Marys and Rochester Methodist Hospitals until her retirement in 1979.

She is survived by a nephew, Philip ( Nancilee) Antisdel, Forest Lake; and a niece, Mary (Donald) Askeland, Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.

A private burial will be in Okoboji Cemetery, Arnolds Park, Iowa, at a later date. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place N.W., Rochester, MN 55901. 507-289-3600.
