He was born in Jerseyville on Sept. 30, 1932 to Lawrence Haywood and Ethel Mae Williams Curry. He married Betty Kinney on March 21, 1952. She survives.
He is also survived by one brother, Lloyd Haven (Shirley) Curry; four daughters, Brenda (Robert) Wright, Janet (Robert) Hambright, Julie (Mitchell) Leverenz and Beth (Glen Peak) Curry; seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law, Nancy (Curry) Leithleiter and Mary Jane Curry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William, James and Lawrence Jr. Curry.
He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1950. He served his country in Korea from 1952-54 as Sgt. in the 116th Combat Engineers and from 1953-54 as Sgt. First Class in the Korean Conflict.
