John Clinton Putzke, 72, of 932 S. Blaine Ave., died Friday, April 20, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1928, to Otto and Ella (Anderson) Putzke at Sioux Falls. He grew up and attended school in Humboldt. At the age of 13, he moved with his family to Sioux Falls, where he attended Longfellow School. He worked as a gardener for Picasso Gardens until his health forced him to retire.
His survivors include his sister, Lorraine Lewis of Sioux Falls; and 13 nieces and nephews.
