ELOY — Novice M. Price, 85, of Eloy, died on July 28, 2013, at home.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with Pastor Harley Faber officiating.
Mrs. Price was born on Sept. 14, 1927 in Aspermont, Texas, and was a daughter of Ezra and Annie Stone. She moved to Eloy in 1961 when her husband began his specialized well photography business. She took care of the family and assisted the business with book work and telephone calls. She also was an administrative assistant at Eloy Junior High and Curiel Primary schools for 20 years until retirement.
Her goal in life was always to help those around her to reach their highest potential. She was involved in the community and was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Alpha Mu chapter, an important part of her life for more than 50 years.
She was a board member of the Eloy Housing Authority for many years, a member of the Eloy Chamber of Commerce and a willing volunteer for the Eloy Lions Club. She loved dancing, travel and visiting with friends at the Toltec Tavern.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy D. and Edward Price; a daughter, Elizabeth Price; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. "Les," and two brothers, J.W. and Del Stone.
