Aaron moved out to New Mexico with his parents from Arkansas and Oklahoma when he was about 12 or 13. He would live in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a large part of his life. He married Ina Pearl Barker in Nov. 1925 in St.Johns, Apache, New Mexico. They had two sons, Charles Alfred, and David Aaron. In April 1958 Aaron and Pearl would divorce and go their separate ways. Aaron would get remarried to Helen Faye Abernaty. He moved to Apache Junction, Arizona with Faye where they lived next to Aaron's youngest brother, Vance, until Vance's death in 1979.
