Rite Conducted at Lake Preston for Mrs. Larson
LAKE PRESTON – Funeral service was to be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Lutheran Church for Mrs. Vern (Florence) Larson, 39, who died Wednesday at St. John Regional Medical Center, Huron. The Rev. Richard Fisher of the United Methodist Church was to officiate and burial in Lake Preston City Cemetery.
Florence Kjellsen was born Oct 21, 1932, at Badger, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albeck Kjellsen. She was graduated from Lake Preston High School. She married Vern Larson, Nov. 20, 1955. She was active in the United Methodist Church both in the county and state Young Men's and Women's Club and Rand Mlthers.
Survivors include her husband; four children, Debbie, Pam, Jill and Marsha, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albeck Kjellsen, Arlington; five sisters, Mrs. Khel (Helen) Marken, Evanston, Ill; Mrs. Floyd (Doris) Moe, Seattle; Mrs. Pat (Ellen) Dinger, Hecla; Judy Kjellsen, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Mrs. Dennis (Rose) Tolzin, Lake Preston; seven brothers, Howard Kjellsen, Santa Ana, CA; Harvey Kjellsen, Warrensburg, MO; Donald Kjellsen, Arlington; Lloyd Kjellsen, Timber Lake; George Kjellsen, Sisseton; Leon Kjellsen, South Shore; and Ralph Kjellsen, Merced, CA.
