"Charles William Weaver, son of G.S. Weaver of 311 Beaver street, died on Sunday afternoon of a complication of diseases, after an extended illness. Mr. Weaver was formerly in the United States army, being a member of Troop K, Fourth Cavalry, located at Mercedes, Tex., having enlisted on July 13, 1920. For the past year he has been a resident of Detroit, Mich., where he was a patient in a hospital, having been transferred from there to Hollidaysburg on Sunday, Nov. 22, for treatment. Mr. Weaver was born in Hollidaysburg, Feb. 28, 1898. He is survived by his father and one brother, G.S. Weaver jr. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house, 311 Beaver street, Gaysport, by Rev. M. Stanley Kemp, D.D., pastor of the Zion Lutheran church. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery at Newry."
