Dennis B. McGrath Jr., (Mick), passed away July 27, 2013 at the age of 90. He was a devout Catholic, WWII veteran, founding member of St. Agnes Church, and a proud retired Columbus Firefighter. He loved spending time with family and friends and helping those less fortunate. He was an avid sports fan. We wish to thank all those who listened to his stories and cared for him. Preceded in death by beloved wife Patricia, parents Dennis and Marie, brothers John and James, sisters Alice Dawson and Ellen Devine. Survived by sister, Catherine Devine; children, Mary (Ric) Montenaro, Patty (Jim) Estep, Kay (Tom) Dinneen, Denny (Mary) McGrath, John (Kay) McGrath, Helen (Bill) Shinn; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Prayer Service 7:30 p.m., at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Church, 2364 W. Mound St. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Soup Kitchen, St. Agnes Church or Home Reach Hospice.
