Delbert Clary
EDINA, Mo. --- Delbert Clary, 68, of Troy, formerly of Knox County, died Thursday (July 20, 1995) in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
Born Jan. 21, 1926, in Knox County, he was a son of Ulysses G. and Lenna Stephen Clary. He married Alma R. Pinson July 9, 1950 in Edina. She survives.
Mr. Clary served with the Merchant Marines during World War II. He owned Clary Construction Co. in Troy. He was a member of Troy VFW Post 8828.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Sutton of Morton, Ill.; a son, Sam Clary of Troy; a brother, Raymond Clary of Rutledge; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Clary was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Clary.
Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina by the Rev. Deloss Goins. Burial will be in Linville Cemetery in Edina. Knox County VFW Post 4822 will conduct military graveside services.
Visitation will be held noon-4 today in the McCoy and Blossom Funeral Home in Troy and from 2 p.m. until the time of services Monday in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel.
