Pioneer's Death Caused by Gas
WOONSOCKET Jan 25
The funeral of Charlie Kruger, pioneer Woonsocket resident, who died late Friday, as the result of being overcome from gas last Monday, will be held in the Methodist church here Monday afternoon at 1:30. Burial will be made in the Eventide cemetery.

Mr. Kruger who was 70 years old, came to Woonsocket in 1880 and has resided here since. At the time of his death he was serving as street marshal. He was overcome by gas in the Woonsocket Motor company Monday while arranging the city fire hose on the floor to dry. The gas is believed to have come from the cars which were left running in the building.

He is survived by his widow and two adopted children, all of Woonsocket.
