Mrs. Etta Bell Bennett Gilliland died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Kings Mountain Hospital.
A resident of White Oak Manor, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Ollie Lovelace Bell. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Clyde T. Bennett Sr. and Henry R. Gilliland. She was a charter member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Clyde T. Bennett Jr. and wife, Marlene, and John D. Bennett; one granddaughter, Kimberly Bennett Reeves and husband, Randy; and one great-grandson, Jonathan Trent Reeves, all of Kings Mountain.
A graveside service will be held in Mountain Rest Cemetery
