OBITUARY-
Allan James "Sonny" Anderson, age 66 of Austin, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

He was born Sept. 30, 1938, to Alvin and Laurene (Dahl) Anderson in Austin. Sonny joined the Air Force, serving his country for four years. He later belonged to the National Guard. A longtime Austin resident, he belonged to St. Olaf Lutheran Church. He was an avid reader and a regular patron of Austin Public Library. Sonny enjoyed family gatherings and especially liked Christmas with lutefisk.

He is survived by sisters, Norma (Russell) Wangen, Austin; Kaye (Bruce) Ebnet, Kasson; brothers, Richard (Muriel) Anderson, Nekoosa, Wis.; Gary R. (Diane) Anderson, Glendale, Ariz.; Larry "Pee Wee" Anderson, Austin; nieces; nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurene and Alvin Anderson and a sister-in-law, Maggie.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2005 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Austin with Rev David Beckstrom officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Worlein Funeral Home, Austin and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery, Austin with military rites by American Legion Post 91 and VFW Post 1216.
