ANDERSON - Guy Davis Branyon 88 of 505 Hayes St died Wednesday, March 17 2004 at Hospice House.
Born in Abbeville County he was retired from Heard's Inc Heating & Air Conditioning He was a United States Army veteran He was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are sons Jerry Davis Branyon and the Rev Larry Dale Branyon both of Anderson daughters Thelma Timms and Shirley Faye Branyon both of Anderson sister Lois Ashley of Honea Path 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was the widower of Frances Chambers Branyon and the son of the late Andrew Davis Branyon and Mamie Branyon He was preceded in death by two sons Leroy Branyon and Robert Eugene Branyon brother James Branyon and five sisters Sibil Brock Ala Mae Bagwell Ema Dell Strickland Katherine Cason and Evelyn Lindsay.
Services are at 2 pm Saturday at Homeland Park Church of God by the Revs Roy Puckett Ralph Pitts and Larry Branyon burial will be in New Silverbrook Cemetery Anderson The family received friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Friday at The McDougald Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 pm Saturday The family will be at the home.
