DARDANELLE — Billy Ray Applegate, 50, of Ola died Monday, July 22, 2013, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 24, 1963, at Little Rock to Jack Applegate and Hellen Mooney. He loved hunting, fishing, playing bingo and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Jack Applegate; one brother, James Applegate; and one stepbrother, Richard Forrester.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Teresa McConnell Applegate of Ola; three children, David Applegate and wife, Tiffany, of Ola, Lisa Robison and husband, Joshua, of Casa and James Applegate of Ola; one sister, Edna Douglas of Wisconsin; three half brothers, Tommy Forrester of London, Tony Forrester of Alread and Eugene Forrester of Hector; two grandchildren, Colby and Tyson Applegate of Ola; and three nephews, Randy Jr, Chris and Jamie Earls, all of Ola.

Memorial graveside services will be conducted at 5 p.m. today at Tate Cemetery in the Buttermilk Community with Bro. Jerry Tanner officiating.

Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
