MRS. AGNES MAY DEMMITT, widow of Roy K. Demmitt, Washington Ave., died at the Washington County Hospital Monday at 9 a.m., aged 73 years. She was born and reared at Union Bridge, Md., and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Stephens. She had been living in Hagerstown for the past 49 years and was a member of the Washington Square Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Eileen Wilson, Hagerstown; sons, George W., Cearfoss; and Charles L., Boonsboro; eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Franks, Baltimore.

Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
