Roger was born April 26, 1949 in Hulbert, to Clue Monroe and Eva Victoria (Johnson) Cochran. He was a full-blood Cherokee and served in the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne. He was a counselor for various agencies. Roger was member of Reaching Our Hulbert Community. He was a basketball fan, and enjoyed watching the Shock and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was also one of the biggest OU fans around, and when he wasn't enjoying a ball game of one of his teams, he could be found shopping on the computer. He is preceded in death by his parents; three baby brothers, Bobby, Pete, and Ronald Cochran; a niece, Lisa Whitekiller-Lingor and nephew, Warren Whitekiller.
