Mrs. D. L. McElroy, 81, Succumbs At Finley.
Mrs. Mamie Bowman McElroy, 81, widow of David L. McElroy, died at her home at Finley. She suffered a stroke four weeks ago, and another shortly before her death.
A daughter of Thomas and Nannie Alberta Gabehart Bowman, she was born and reared in Marion County. She was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Her Husband died in July, 1962.
Surviving are a son, Leo McElroy, a mechanic for the Marion County School Board, and one brother, 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
The body is at Bosley Funeral Home. Funeral services are to be conducted at Our Lady of the Hills Church by the pastor, Rev, Philip Hutchins, with burial in the church cemetery.
