Mrs. Emily Holden Porter on Sunday, August 24, 1986. Beloved wife of the late Nathaniel Porter Sr. Daughter of the late James and Ada Bell Holden. Mother of two sons (living) and the late Lawrence "Nute" Porter and Ruby Mae. Sister of the late Thelma P. Johnson and also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Asia, Law Street, Mount Moriah, Evergreen and Pleasant Valley Baptist churches and all neighboring churches.
