Services For Mrs. Clutter
Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Pearl Reid Clutter at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, with the Rev. Robert Nixon officiating and assisted by Rev. J. W. Ward.
Mrs. Clutter died Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Memorial Hospital in Floresville. She was born in Arkansas on August 14, 1889. Her husband, George Dorer Clutter, died in August 1961. Mrs. Clutter has lived in the Gonzales county area for several years.
Survivors include two sons: Henry Edward Clutter and Pete Clutter of Nixon and four daughters: Mrs. Octavia Coleman of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mable Wheat of Wickett, Texas, Mrs. Zella Barnett of Smiley and Mrs. Susan Stewart of Victoria.
Mrs. Clutter is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Interment was at the Rancho cemetery in Nixon. Mrs. Clutter was a member of the Pentecostal church.
