Mrs. John L. (Rose) Corrigan, 86, a resident in the apartments above the Ben Franklin Store, Broadway, 20 years, died Thursday morning in St. Joseph's Home, River Falls, Wis., where she had been a resident since June 1963.
A native of Bohemia, Austria, she was born August 5, 1878 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Rynes. She was married to John L. Corrigan, Jan. 6, 1898 at Union Center, Wis. She was a member of St. Theodore's Roman Catholic Church.
Her husband died May 19, 1960. A son and a daughter also preceded her in death.
Immediate survivors are: five sons, John, Albert Lea; Edward, Green Bay, Wis; Robert, Helena, Mont.; Charles, Sauk Center and the Rev. A.B. Corrigan, New Richmond, Wis.; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Gleeson, New Richmond; Mrs. William (Dorothy) Wiese, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Edward (Eileen) Malinoski, Cattaraugus, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. George Treml, Mauston, Wis.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Theodore's Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Corrigan will officiate. A wake service will be at 8 p.m. Monday in Bonnerup & Son Funeral Chapel.
