Helmuth "Doc" Kraft of New Braunfels TX passed away Sunday May 8, 2005 at his residence at the age of 83. A loving husband, father and grandfather he enjoyed working in his yard, spending time with his grandchildren and hunting. He was a member of the 9 pin hall of fame for Mission Valley Bowling club. Doc worked for civil service for 20 years and owned and managed Tex-O-Mart service station for 17 years. He married Irene Magin October 7, 1948 in Seguin, Texas.

His survivors include his wife Irene Kraft; daughter Carole Green and her husband John; grandchildren Kristie Mueck and her husband Matthew, Brittnie Green and her fiancé Justin Friesenhahn, Brent Green and his wife Molly; brother Roland Kraft and his wife Elnora; sister-in-law Nell Rose Kraft and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents Frank and Linda Kraft and a brother Milton Kraft.

Visitation will begin 12 noon Tuesday May 10, 2005 at Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 12 noon on Wednesday with the family present from 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday to receive visitors. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 11, 2005 at 2 pm at First Protestant Church with burial to follow in
Comal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Protestant Church.
