Obituary
Vivian Matthews McLamb, 85, of 185 Lassie Lane, Benson, died Thursday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 29, 1914, in Harnett County to the late T.G. and Delia Hardee Matthews and was preceeded in death by her husband, Estel "Soup" McLamb. She was a member of Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemake.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Jimmy Barnhill and Kendell Cameron. Burial followed in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Ann Smith of Fuquay-Varina and Vickie Lee Raynor of Benson; two sons, T.G. McLamb and Estel Mack McLamb, both of Benson; one brother T.G. Matthews Jr. of Benson; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
