William B. Mason Rites-Service for William B. Mason, 61, of 37 Race street, were conducted Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church by the Rev. W. Joyce Russell, assistant pastor. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing. For the past 20 years, Mr. Mason had been employed as a car repair helper on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He was a member of the Carmen's Union. A son of the late James and Mary Bailey Mason, Mr. Mason is survived by his widow, Bridget A. (Nelson) Mason; two sons, James Joseph and William A. Mason both of Cumberland; one daughter Mrs. Harry J. Deter, Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Mrs. Douglas Waddell, Mrs. Marion Udy and Mrs. Clarkson Laird, Lonaconing; Mrs. Thomas Lowery, Frostburg; and Mrs. David E. Sowers, Kitzmiller.
