Beloved daughter of the late Allen L. Frisch, Sr., and late Catherine L. (nee Mawhinney) Frisch. Joanne passed away uexpectedly at home on July 26, 2013. She was born in Philadelphia and spent most of her life in Collingdale. She graduated from Collingdale High School 1980.Joanne was a loving wife, homemaker and mother of four children. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her life. She loved to garden, sew, going to the beach and swimming with the dolphins. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 32 years, James P. Funchion; daughters, Catherine (Jason) Gerakaris, Laura Funchion, Jennifer Funchion, and Michelle Funchion; 10 grandchildren: Daniel, Nathan, Landon, James, Jonathan, Lucas, Kaylynn, Alexander, Leah, and Jaxson; brother Al, niece, Jenna, and nephew, AJ; many cousins, friends, and family. She is deeply missed.
