Information from the Pioneer Families of the Midwest by Blanche L. Walden

Note: Age at death match her husband John's age at death. According to The Pioneer Families of the Midwest Fanny Harper died Aug 29, 1833 at the age of 60 years 10 months, & 23 days. John passed on Dec. 1, 1853 at the age of 82 years, 5 months, & 23 days. Quite possibly the original marker was misread and the replacement plaque mixed up. This would also make sense as to the date of the 4th instead of the 1st being misread on an old marker.
