The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Sunday & Monday, February 21 & 22, 1972:
Services for John A. Johnson, 77, of 1714 N. Shawnee, will be at noon Monday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum. He died Saturday in a city nursing home. Johnson was born in Lafayette, Ind. and came to Oklahoma City in 1902. He was a retired bookkeeper for Oklahoma National Stockyards for which he worked for 30 years. Johnson was a member of American Legion Post 35 and Siloam Shriner Lodge 276. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. His wife, Lyla V., survives.
