Last rites for Stanley King, 81, who died Wednesday, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home. In charge of the service will be the Rev. Melvin Phillips of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Stanley King, of 939 W. 2nd St., died at his home at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, following an illness of four months.

A native of Kentucky, he came from Carrollton, Ky., to Anderson 48 years ago. He was employed for 16 years at Kelley's Furniture Company here before his retirement in 1947. His wife, Louise, died in 1947.

He was a member of the Spanish-American War Veterans and of the Carrollton Christian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Walker of Anderson and Mrs. Robert (Katheryn) Goodnight of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a son, Raymond King of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Vera Robertson of Carrollton, Ky., a brother, Melvin King of Louisville, Ky., and two grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today. Other arrangements are pending the arrival of members of the family.
